About Kejora

Kejora is a Malaysian job platform built to connect everyday job seekers with employers across every state — from Kuala Lumpur to Sabah, from Penang to Johor. We focus on the parts of the labour market that have always been underserved by traditional job sites: part-time work, gig and freelance opportunities, hybrid and remote roles, and roles outside the major urban centres.

Why Kejora exists

Most existing job platforms in Malaysia were built for corporate hiring — they prioritise CVs, recruiter dashboards, and applicant-tracking workflows. That works well for full-time office roles, but it leaves out a huge slice of the market: students looking for part-time shifts, fresh graduates open to internships, freelancers picking up project work, and skilled workers in service industries who don't fit the standard CV-and-cover-letter mould.

We wanted to build something simpler — a platform where posting a job takes two minutes, applying takes one click, and conversations between employers and candidates happen directly, without recruitment middlemen taking a cut.

How it works for job seekers

  • Browse without an account. You can see every active job listing on Kejora without signing up.
  • Filter what matters to you. Filter by employment type (full-time, part-time, contract, internship, freelance), work mode (on-site, hybrid, remote), location, and salary range.
  • Apply in one tap. When you find a job you're interested in, tapping "Apply" opens a direct conversation with the employer — no CV uploads, no cover letters, no automated rejection emails.
  • Chat directly. Talk to the actual hiring manager in real-time. Ask questions, negotiate terms, schedule interviews.
  • Control your privacy. Mute, block, or hide conversations whenever you need to. Your data is yours.

How it works for employers

  • Post a job in under two minutes. Just the essentials — title, type, location, compensation, and a description of the role.
  • No subscription, no listing fees. Kejora is free to use for both posting jobs and applying to them.
  • Talk to candidates directly. Skip the recruiter middleman. The first message comes straight from the candidate to your inbox.
  • Manage your listings. Activate, deactivate, edit, or delete posts whenever your hiring needs change.

Built for Malaysia

Kejora is built specifically for the Malaysian labour market. The interface is available in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Simplified Chinese. Salaries are denominated in Ringgit Malaysia. Location filters use real Malaysian city and state data. The platform respects local employment norms — for example, surfacing "part-time" and "freelance" as first-class options rather than burying them under generic "contract" labels.

We're a small team, and we use Kejora ourselves. When we hear about something that doesn't work for Malaysian users — say, a salary range that doesn't account for state-by-state cost-of-living differences, or a location filter that misses East Malaysian towns — we fix it.

Your privacy and data

We collect the minimum information needed to make the platform work — your email, display name, and the messages you send through the platform. We don't sell data to third parties, we don't share your contact details with anyone you haven't explicitly messaged, and we comply with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
