Kejora is a Malaysian job platform built to connect everyday job seekers with employers across every state — from Kuala Lumpur to Sabah, from Penang to Johor. We focus on the parts of the labour market that have always been underserved by traditional job sites: part-time work, gig and freelance opportunities, hybrid and remote roles, and roles outside the major urban centres.
Most existing job platforms in Malaysia were built for corporate hiring — they prioritise CVs, recruiter dashboards, and applicant-tracking workflows. That works well for full-time office roles, but it leaves out a huge slice of the market: students looking for part-time shifts, fresh graduates open to internships, freelancers picking up project work, and skilled workers in service industries who don't fit the standard CV-and-cover-letter mould.
We wanted to build something simpler — a platform where posting a job takes two minutes, applying takes one click, and conversations between employers and candidates happen directly, without recruitment middlemen taking a cut.
Kejora is built specifically for the Malaysian labour market. The interface is available in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Simplified Chinese. Salaries are denominated in Ringgit Malaysia. Location filters use real Malaysian city and state data. The platform respects local employment norms — for example, surfacing "part-time" and "freelance" as first-class options rather than burying them under generic "contract" labels.
We're a small team, and we use Kejora ourselves. When we hear about something that doesn't work for Malaysian users — say, a salary range that doesn't account for state-by-state cost-of-living differences, or a location filter that misses East Malaysian towns — we fix it.
We collect the minimum information needed to make the platform work — your email, display name, and the messages you send through the platform. We don't sell data to third parties, we don't share your contact details with anyone you haven't explicitly messaged, and we comply with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

Kejora is free to use. To keep it that way, we show ads served by Google AdSense alongside job listings. These ads are clearly labelled, never disguised as job posts, and never inserted into private conversations. You can read more about how we handle ads, cookies, and tracking in our Privacy Policy.
