By accessing or using Kejora ("the Platform") at kejora.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Kejora. By using the Platform, you represent that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Use of the Platform by minors is strictly prohibited.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with others.
  • Notify us immediately at hello@kejora.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Kejora to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Collect or harvest personal data of other users without their consent.
  • Distribute spam, unsolicited messages, or malware.
  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass any security measures of the Platform.
  • Violate any applicable Malaysian or international law or regulation.
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits any other user's enjoyment of the Platform.

4. Job Listings

Employers who post job listings on Kejora represent that:

  • The job opportunity is genuine and legally compliant with Malaysian employment law.
  • The listed compensation, requirements, and conditions are accurate to the best of their knowledge.
  • They have the authority to recruit for the position advertised.

Kejora reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.

5. Messaging and Communications

Kejora provides a direct messaging feature to facilitate communication between job seekers and employers. You agree to use this feature only for legitimate job-related communication. Sending unsolicited commercial messages, scam content, or abusive material via the messaging system is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Kejora — including the logo, design, code, and original text — is the intellectual property of Kejora or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

By posting content on Kejora (such as job descriptions), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and use that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

7. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Kejora makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of job listings or user-generated content.
  • The suitability of any job opportunity for any particular user.
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform.

Kejora does not act as an employer, employment agency, or recruiter. We are a technology platform that facilitates connections between job seekers and employers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kejora and its team members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform — including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, loss of data, or loss of revenue — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Third-Party Services and Advertising

Kejora displays third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of these advertisements. Clicking on ads may take you to third-party websites governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we determine in our sole discretion that your conduct is harmful to other users or the Platform. You may also delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the Platform or by email. Continued use of Kejora after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
